Media East – a community organisation

In partnership with local Government, cultural and charity organisations we, at Media East, intend to organise a series of arts, cultural and sports events to engage and motivate the marginalised BME communities. The main objective is to: promote cultural diversity and social cohesion and integration of multi-national arts, culture and heritage among communities.

OBJECTIVES

• To promote and train BME community through visual arts, music, dance & film, paintings, sculpture, classical, traditional and Folk/Tribal Art and Crafts .
• To provide opportunities for people of all ages to take part in reading, writing, performing, making, creating, experimenting, discussing, collaborating and presenting culture.
• To preserve and protect of South Asian languages, culture and heritage in peripherals within BME community.
• To acquire tools to interpret and analyse literature, film, and other forms of culture and media by engaging local BME community.
• To bring together diverse BME local community to explore, promote and enhance capability  with a common interest in Asian mass communication.
• To train the wider community in areas such as interpersonal skills, management skills, language, media, personal/professional development.
• To create vibrancy through our locally relevant and nationally important arts and cultural programs, places and resources to promote distinction and safeguard heritage.

Our events will be carried out with due and extensive planning strategies to ensure strict guidelines are followed and all key aspects are considered carefully for successful event coordination.

We ensure smooth running and implementation of all aspects from design, plan, execution and closure of a project. All critical areas such as Guest Invitation and Management, Speakers & Talent Acquisitions, VIP Protocols, PR and Media Relation, Corporate Sponsorships, Risk Evaluation & Management and Logistics & Safety will be given the utmost care and attention.
