One of the most iconic project of Media East team is towards celebrating the 70^th Pakistan Independence Day, Media East in partnership with local Government, cultural and charity organisations intend to apply for funding in order to organise a series of arts, cultural and sports events to engage and motivate the Pakistani, indigenous and other marginalised BME communities. The series of anticipated events includes:

1. Launching event (introduction of Media East and project partners, project pre-consultation, folk and sufi performances)
2. Sports competitions (Cricket, Football)
3. Meena bazar/ Fun Fair (indoor activities for families and children)
4. Mushaira/Poetry Night
5. Corporate Lunch
6. Pakistan Independence celebration concert (Azadi 2017)
7. Concluding event/project showcase (Eid-Milan party, update past/future events)

By delivering the above events, our objective is to promote cultural diversity and social cohesion and integration of Pakistan’s arts, culture and heritage among wider BME communities.
